Away We Go! Youth Travel Camp is a nonprofit organization promoting global education through cultural exchange.

The camp will facilitate year-round travel for high school students.

The program will form partnerships with local schools.

Our Goals

• • To provide a positive intervention through travel for youths who face a turbulent transition to adulthood
  • To help students experience and understand other cultures firsthand
  • To motivate the student to travel outside the box as well as think outside the box

Our Purpose

• • To provide a medium through which the School District can take students beyond the classroom into the wonderful world of travel
  • To provide creative travel experiences for middle and high school students
  • To create an ongoing mentoring experience for youth participants

We promise to provide educational travel
experiences to young people and help them build strong
communication skills and greater sense of
hope for the future.

Prerequisites

• Ages 13-18
• Students must attend a Philadelphia School
• Pre-Post writing assignment
• Letter of recommendation from teacher/counselor
